Global Care of Massachusetts nursing assistants provide essential hands-on care and support to patients in the comfort of their own homes. They assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and meal preparation, helping individuals maintain their independence and quality of life. CNAs also monitor patients' conditions, report changes to RN’s or supervisors, and offer companionship, creating a safe and nurturing environment. Their compassionate care and attention to detail are crucial in supporting both patients and their families during recovery or chronic illness management.

Certified Nursing Assistants

Certified Nursing Assistants Typically Do the Following;

  • Provide basic help with activities of daily living (ADL)

  • Clean and bathe patients

  • Help patients use the toilet and dress

  • Turn, reposition, and transfer patients between beds and wheelchairs

  • Listen to and record patients’ health concerns and report that information to nurses

  • Measure patients’ vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature

  • Serve meals and help patients eat

Depending on their training level and the state in which they work, nursing assistants also may dispense medication.
